Barn after Restoration

This old barn was built of softwood in 1947 and became redundant in the 60's. Planning permission to restore was granted so long as all the apertures and the footprint of the building remained unchanged. Built entirely of the finest Canadian Red Cedar on a brick plinth, under a slate roof, this restored barn incorporates all the latest building regulations without loosing any of its rural aesthetic appeal.
