I provide a mobile furniture repair service for both Individuals and Businesses.

Restaurant and Pub furniture is often abused causing the joints to either become loose or break and when this happens the furniture is taken out of commission, removing its revenue potential. This need not be the case as help is at hand without you leaving your business.

The most common problem is the tenon and mortise joint between the back and the seat weakens because the original hot glue used in manufacturing becomes brittle and crumbles. It is a straightforward process to expand the joints and apply wood glue made specifically to be absorbed into the pores forming a stronger joint than the original. This type of repair typically takes about an hour and costs £75 for the first chair and £60 per chair thereafter.

Tables on a flagstone floor often have that irritating wobble which has to be cured with a wedge to even the legs up. This again can be easily resolved once the final position of the table has been determined. Sideboards and their drawers also suffer from constant use and the sheer weight of the cutlery often causing the drawer to run unevenly. Again, this can be fixed in about an hour.
